Hi I'm Steve Medlin. Good to talk to you.  Let me tell you about myself. I grew up here in Concord, North Carolina. I went to high school, Mt. Pleasant High School. I went far, far away to college, all the way down to UNC at Charlotte.  I went off to Chapel Hill to UNC and took my law degree.  Got to come right back here to my hometown and open my law practice at 43 Union Street South, right in the old section of downtown Concord.  

I am the hometown country lawyer.  Let me tell you what that means.  I return phone calls.  I listen to people.  I am involved in my community and  I do custom work for people with unique legal problems.  I don’t believe in templates.  I don’t believe in the cookie cutter approach to the practice of law.  I listen to folks and we work together to get a unique situation settled in a unique way.

I specialize in avoiding the expensive courtroom.  I believe in saving money in the long run by avoiding the courtroom and doing the work right.

How do I do that?  Well, I know everybody in town.  I know the system around here.  I was in the Jaycees for many, many years.  I am an active member at Grace Global Methodist Church, Inc. in Concord.  I was in the Lions Club for 10 years.  Most of my life, I have been in the Toastmasters Club, still active there.  For 25 plus years, I have been active in the Rotary Club.  I love my Rotary work.  What that means is that I know how this community works.
